Breastfeeding in Public

Reading Breastfeeding in Public 1 minute

Today I was featured in a news segment on television about breastfeeding in public. A friend I went to college with is a news anchor on Telemundo 39 in Dallas, Texas. She asked me if I would like to be featured and of course I said yes! Anyone that knows me understands how passionate I am about this topic.

"Breastfeeding in public shouldn't be taboo. If my baby is hungry, I am going to feed her no matter where I am. I refuse to cover up because I shouldn't have to. You see more skin at the beach. People wouldn't like having their face covered while eating, so why should my baby be covered?" -Me.

Overall, the audience was very positive regarding the topic. Which is awesome to see! But we still have work to do. Thank you Analia Fiestas for asking me to be apart of this!
